Summary:Global Exchange has been operating in the currency exchange sector since 1996. company has its origin in Spain, in the town of Fuentes de Oñoro (Salamanca), border with Portugal, where the owners, the Alanís family, had been developing various business activities focused on the tourist public. In 1996 this new line of business was inaugurated to respond to the needs of currency exchange of foreign tourists and with the aim of offering a service professional and high quality. In just 3 years, a network of 16 exchange establishments, distributed throughout the Spanish territory. (global group Exchange, official site) Following the entry into force of the euro, the company decided to opt for a process of internationalization. In 2001, it became the only Spanish company in the sector that became internationalized, beginning this new challenge with the opening of 11 offices of change in the 6 main airports in Argentina. From that moment, and until the Currently, in just twenty years, it has come to operate in 57 international airports from 21 countries and 5 continents, and in numerous tourist complexes in Central America.
