Description
Summary:Trout fry (Oncorhynchus mykiss) with an approximate weight of 5 ± 3 grams were used. Two densities were managed: D1 with 2000 fish and D2 with 1500 fish. In both densities, the identification of the external parasites that affected them was carried out. The ectoparasites found in trout were some of the most common protozoa, such as Piscinoodinium sp and Ichthyophthirius multifilis. The identification of the ectoparasites was carried out through laboratory tests in the laboratory of the University of Antioquia. 10 mm fry were sent as a sample for the identification of the ectoparasites present in the two densities
