Description
Summary:At present, the care of renewable resources is a priority, therefore the project aims to automate the API separator of the company ECOPETROL SA, offering a design based on a skimmer, separator of dense substances, through bubbles of air caused by the Venturi effect, the API separator is responsible for collecting all the residues of water mixed with oil and separating the water from the fuel for its subsequent treatment and release. The project is carried out with the LabView simulation tool, to sum up the electrical system designed for the Skimmer in order to evaluate the logic for its subsequent implementation by the company in the future.
