The evaluation instruments used were instruments to measure quality of life (QOL), Zarit overload scale, Beck depression and anxiety inventory. It was possible to show the effects of most present caregivers highlighting the psychological, overload, anxiety and a perception of poor quality of life.

Teniendo en cuenta los resultados de los participantes los cuales fueron 10 cuidadores de la ciudad de Ibagué. El enfoque del estudio fue cuantitativo, el cual es secuencial y probatorio. Se utilizó un diseño descriptivo. Los instrumentos de evaluación utilizados fueron el instrumento para medir la calidad de vida (QOL), Escala de sobrecarga de Zarit, inventario de depresión y ansiedad de Beck.
