Renovación urbana y recuperación ambiental de la comuna 8 (Neiva, Huila)

The following work addresses the environmental and urban problems that commune 8 of Neiva currently suffers, being a constant in its living encountering scenes of abandonment by planning and aggravating factors such as violence, drugs and informality of all kinds. In exercising the faculties acquired throughout the architecture career, an attempt is made to provide a response that will serve as a basis for future interventions in the commune, since a perspective is given in many areas and a solution is reached that integrates environmental aspects , economic, social, cultural, educational and sports. Proposal takes as its main axis the Cabuya creek which runs through the commune in a transversal way and serves as a connecting axis of several points of environmental importance, thus being the initial concept the connection of these points through the road profiles and the inclusion of suitable trees for such purposes. Broadly speaking, the proposal is made up of 3 stages that will respond to the needs of each sector where they are applied and will connect with the other areas, each one of them will have its own vocation and relevant aspects to develop, taking into account each situation. socio-economic, morphological and environmental.
