Description
Summary:The present monographic work developed an optimization proposal to the Provision of vehicle air conditioning maintenance service in the company ECO-AIR of Cali Valle del Cauca, using the descriptive methodology based on the hypothesis that by implementing technological means the productivity of the service is increased. In its results it was determined that the improvement proposal based on tools technologies, ostensibly improves working times and reduces costs compared to to the process that is traditionally done. This is due to a reduction in the risks of operation that allows less waste of materials, as well as better use in the times of provision of the service. It is concluded that the improved proposal generates economic savings for the company, providing a profitability (68.41%) three times greater than the one it currently manages with the current process and reporting to the owners of the organization an internal rate return of 35.2%, which is higher than the opportunity cost of the business, meaning that the project generates good economic returns in the medium term.
