Description
Summary:Traditional medicine has a wide range of products that are used to treat different diseases, and are also easily accessible to small and medium-sized producers. Many natural products have an effect on different types of bacteria and are also used as an extra supplement to commercial feed for better development in less time. Therefore, the objective of this research was to study the effect of garlic (Allium sativum) supplementation on parasite load, hematological values and production 9 indicators, allowing us to study and analyze the results taken at three moments on days 0, 21, and 42 of age in random individuals. For the development of the study, the chickens were divided into different cubicles, being made up of 20 individuals each rotated 1,2, and 3. Being that batch 1 was supplemented with 30 grams of garlic, batch 2 with 60 grams of garlic supplement and batch 3 being the control group; allowing to analyze in each one the yields and the effect of the garlic supplement, at a systemic, digestive and productive level. Finding normality in the erythrogram, discussion of some leukogram alterations and their origin, parasitism problems in the coprological study and its correlation with the effect of garlic supplementation and a notable weight gain in the treated batches compared to the control batch
