Summary:Currently, university teachers are aware of the importance of promoting internships in technical matters in the academic training of their students. As a consequence, teachers seek new pedagogies to facilitate access to knowledge through experimentation, emphasizing the design and selection of elements for the control of industrial processes. Meta being the department with the highest hydrocarbon production nationwide, as stated (Gerente.com, 2021) “With figures from the National Hydrocarbons Agency, ANH, in the first six months of the year, the Meta department produced a average of 423,500 barrels of oil per day, corresponding to 49.9% of the total production of Colombia ”, the company Colombia de petroleum ECOPETROL SA, includes within its operations a scope of processes in the collection and treatment of heavy crude oil, the control and monitoring of the process variables is essential for its veracity and reliability; have highly complex programming devices and their respective logic.
