The purpose of this degree work is to present a proposal to the quality assurance laboratory of the ESENTTIA company located in the city of Cartagena in the Mamonal area; In this company there is a need and it is to improve the process control of the additives with which the different references are manufactured. To achieve this, a strategy must be designed to improve the operation and preventive maintenance of the equipment and processes that are directly involved in the process control of the additives with which the products are manufactured. With this project, proposals for improvement will be suggested in order to reduce equipment stops and delays in supplying data to the control room where the necessary adjustments are made so that the products are of good quality; One of the most frequent and repetitive alarms that most affect the process are those that occur in the x-ray equipment caused by the High vacuum alarm, these are generated by the amount of shavings or residues that they achieve. enter the equipment thus allowing it to turn off and directly affect the process control of the additives with which the product is presented.
