Description
Summary:Currently, an average of 30 kg of recoverable material such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass is recycled, which is low compared to the projected 80 kg. This is due to the low storage capacity of the vehicles currently used by the recyclers of the Galindo Cooperative, which forces them to make more trips to meet this minimum average; The cooperative, according to its growth plan based on the high demand for urban material in the city, seeks to increase the capacity of recovered material to the projected value by 2023, which implies a greater supply of material for national suppliers and therefore a greater profit for its members; therefore , to solve this situation, it is proposed to design and build a prototype of collection and transportation equipment for recyclable waste. For its development 4 objectives were established, which are: 1 taking into account the loDefine the design criteria ad capacity, weight of the equipment and motion transmission ratio, 2calculate and select the mechanisms and materials of the prototype based on data collected, 3simulate in Autodesk Inventor Software version 2021, 4 prototype, the results construct the show a collecting equipment with a capacity of 80 kg, with a monochassis molded in high density recovered plastic material. The methodology used for its development comprises the method of French (2014), which is based on phases which are: 1Design criteri Simulation and construction of the prototype. a, 2Prototype design and selection, 3As a result, the design and construction of a prototype of a waste collection and transportation equipment for the recyclers' cooperative of Galindo, Neiva (Huila) was ach ieved.
