Summary: | The main objective of this work is to propose an alternative method for the calibration of clamp meters up to 300A for applications in the industrial sector in the company CINGES. The motivation for the development of this project is based on the need identified in the industrial sector, specifically in the CINGES company to guarantee the reliability of electrical current measurements up to 300A at low cost and with high metrological reliability. The methodology to be implemented consists of the use of a Thief Joule circuit that allows the multiplication of the electric current and, in this way, perform the calibration of a clamp meter in the laboratory and using a conventional multimeter as a measurement standard. The expected results are aimed at strengthening the electrical measurements carried out in the industrial sector, in addition to satisfactorily increasing the academyindustry relationship for the Antonio Nariño University at its Puerto Colombia Headquarters |
