Summary: | Coronaviruses are viruses that periodically arise in different areas of the world and cause Acute Respiratory Infection, that is, flu, which can be mild, moderate or severe. In the professional dental environment, it is suggested that transmission occurs in a similar way to other respiratory viruses, due to the proximity of less than 1 meter between the professional and the patient. Health professionals, in this case dentists, are in the group highly affected by COVID-19 infection, so they must permanently take extreme care in each of the biosafety processes by evaluating the Risks and the assignment of good work practices, appropriate safety equipment and training, the factors that can generate the transmission of the disease can be minimized. These protocols are oriented and are mandatory |
