Summary:The human being is always in search of empowerment of knowledge, they use tools and means that transform experiences into learning, the following work has as a reference point the pedagogical practice corresponding to Spanish area, which was carried out in the school Liceo Femenino Mercedes Nariño corresponding to the year 2020 with the students of 5th grade. This proposal is produced as pedagogical support in the readings of different types of texts of reading comprehension, using as diagnostic parameters the language tests to know 5th grade ICFES.
