Summary: | The present project is based on the premise that dance, beyond being an artistic expression, is a powerful tool for the socio-emotional development of individuals. However, it faces significant challenges for its effective inclusion in the educational field, such as the lack of adequate teacher training and the scarcity of appropriate resources and spaces. This work draws on previous studies that explore the impact of teaching and learning strategies in folk dance, the importance of arts education, the relationship between affective and cognitive development in children and youth, the use of theatrical and dance games to improve participants' social skills, and the systematization of pedagogical practice in education. |
