Description
Summary:Knowing the problem around the world and particularly in Colombia due to dengue, an analysis of the reported cases of dengue was carried out in the municipality of Aguazul, in a period from 2015 to 2020, taking into account climatological variables such as (temperature and precipitation) and sociodemographic variables such as (socioeconomic level), using SIG tools between them Dashboard (control panel), ArcMap with its density calculation tools; making graphics and cartography of the target area, generating an instrument that allows finding the relationship between the incidence of dengue cases and the behavior of the climatological and sociodemographic variables in which the relationship between dengue cases and precipitation was identified, because an increase in reported dengue cases was found for the rainy season, which generates stagnation of waters that favor the increase of Ae, Aegypty and the spread of dengue cases, likewise, there is an absence of stratification data from Sisbén at the municipal level that allows establishing the socioeconomic conditions and standard of living of those infected by the dengue virus, in addition to identifying areas of high concentration of dengue transmission that require greater control of the Aedes Aegypti and create a data base that can be used as a support for making decisions, watching and control of the public health, it is a very important alternative if we see to the time there is no an instrument that allows to identify the behavior of dengue cases and avoid possible epidemics
