Conocer cómo está compuesta la materia y cómo es la naturaleza del Universo han sido temas que el hombre siempre se ha cuestionado. En este artículo describiremos brevemente el Modelo Estándar, teoría que explica las propiedades e interacciones entre las partículas elementales, y cómo se hace para medirlas experimentalmente.
