Summary: | The objective of this study is to determine the presence of gastrointestinal parasites zoonotics (T. canis, A. caninum, D. caninum and Giardia spp.) from the results of coprological examinations of canines in 2018 in three Veterinary Clinics in the city of Bogotá with the variables sex, race and age (0-6 months, 7-12 months, 1 to 6 years and 7 years onwards). From the Zoolandia Veterinary Clinic there were 87 results, 49 results feces from the Mandalay Veterinary Clinic and 44 results from the Veterinary Clinic Animal Life, For a total of 180 coprologies of canine patients. The frequency was evaluated of the most common gastrointestinal parasites in dogs, which represent a risk of great importance to public health because they are zoonotic. |
