Finally, we carry out an analysis (from scientometrics) of the Latin America mathematics journals from the index.Este artículo presenta la producción de la disciplina de la matemática en los cinco primeros Journals (revistas especializadas), en términos de temas, bajo el índice de Scimago (15 de abril de 20171); se clasifican los títulos y resúmenes sacados de la muestra mencionada. Luego se comparan las 50 primeras revistas especializadas en matemática con las 50 primeras en la disciplina de la educación y del mismo modo con las 50 primeras en la disciplina de la economía; esta comparación se realiza alrededor de la participación del país de procedencia de las revistas.
