Summary:The main objective of this research work was to analyze the most relevant psychosocial factors presented by the inmates treated in the psychology service of corridor A, of the INPEC Tuluá-Valle medium-security penitentiary and male prison. For the development of the research process, a detailed bibliographic review was carried out regarding the topic and subtopics related to the research problem. Regarding the methodology used for the development of the research, it corresponded to a descriptive methodology, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental field design. The sample or population under study was made up of 10 inmates from corridor A INPEC Tuluá, for the collection of data and information related to the investigation process, two registration cards were used, the first card corresponded to information related to sociodemographic aspects, occupational, academic, habits, interest or other aspects, socioeconomic and interpersonal aspects, antisocial aspects and the second file corresponded to the cognitive and emotional profile of the offender where information corresponding to the cognitive, sensory-perceptual and academic dimension, personal and interpersonal cognition dimension was recorded. and dimension of antisocial behavior. The results obtained in relation to the scale defined for its analysis corresponded to results related to a low level whose description is detailed in the results section, later the results of the application of both cards were integrated into the process of analysis of the six psychosocial factors. defined as relevant as follows: support network, coping with the reclusion process, life project, behavior pattern, religious and/or spiritual beliefs, adherence to the resocialization process; After the development of the joint analysis, conclusions could be drawn regarding each selected factor, generating relevant contributions that can be taken as inputs to develop intervention elements in the prison context evaluated, focused on promoting a greater impact on the resocialization processes of inmates.
