Description
Summary:The presence of illegal armed groups in Colombia has generated multiple victimizing events for Colombians, such as kidnappings, forced displacement, recruitment, antipersonnel mines, terrorist attacks, among others. The political struggle between the armed groups and the national government has affected the population generating consequences for all the people who suffer the consequences of the war, among the victims of the conflict are children, since the cognitive and psychosocial development of children is affected. It is directly affected by armed conflicts (Unicef, 2008) and is also presented as a population that is vulnerable both to the situation and to armed groups outside the law, who use children to achieve their ends.
