Description
Summary:Logistics, which for a long time was relegated to be considered as simple operational activities of transport and storage, is now taking on great relevance, and has been analyzed by the imperative need in the evolution of commercial administration, it has been structured by academics in such a way that it is now recognized as one of the main axes of industry and commerce. The following analysis will lead the reader to understand how a country's logistical performance is measured, the indicators that are the solid basis of the cycle, and identify opportunities for improvement through results. In the case of Colombia, commercial development and the evolution of logistics have been growing hand in hand, with the adoption of improvements to its infrastructure and the application of best logistic practices has taken a modest position, but important at the global level, it is clear that much remains to be done; however, the analysis of the information presented makes it possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses that the country has in relation to other competitors with the discovery of possible fields of action in the area of international trade in an increasingly globalized and competitive world.
