By designing and developing a draft public art as a strategy to strengthen the visual arts emphasis inside IED Sierra Morena starting with a more flexible curriculum that promotes contemporary art teaching, creatively addressing a specific problem: the difficulties of physical spaces, contextual and pedagogical to expression of the visual arts into schools. The approach of the students to the language of contemporary art, the interventions ephemeral and permanent transformation of common places, allowed them to present the results in arts festivals during to 2010.El presente proyecto de investigación “Espacios para el arte” es el resultado de la experiencia pedagógica de la autora desarrollada como artista plástica, aplicando procesos de creación-investigación artística para la transformación de preconceptos sobre la enseñanza de las artes plásticas en el contexto escolar. Mediante el diseño y desarrollo un proyecto de arte público como estrategia de fortalecimiento del énfasis de artes plásticas en la IED Sierra Morena, a partir de una flexibilización curricular que propicie la enseñanza del arte contemporáneo abordando creativamente una problemática concreta: la ausencia de espacios físicos, contextuales y pedagógicos para la expresión de las artes plásticas en el ámbito escolar.
