description	This paper analyzes the current state of the "La Casa de Asterion" bookstore, which does not have a systematized or formal inventory system, but rather controls the bibliographic material and its states "from memory" or in some cases making use of obsolete processes that do not guarantee efficiency in the control of the material. The objective of the work was to formulate a proposal for the inventory system for the company the bookstore "La Casa De Asterion" located in the cultural center of the book in Bogotá -Colombia. Under a mixed research method in which the collection and analysis of data (qualitative) and numerical measurements (quantitative) a test was carried out for the workers that allowed the context of knowledge about inventories in which the bookstore emerged, whose results allowed to know that the workers and the mourners did not have basic fundamental knowledge for the development of a functional inventory, for which it was decided to formulate a simple and physical inventory system that was easy to use. But additionally, an automated template was made in Excel to achieve a transfer of the physical inventory processes to a systematized one.

But additionally, an automated template was made in Excel to achieve a transfer of the physical inventory processes to a systematized one.En este trabajo se analiza el estado actual de la librería “La Casa de Asterión” la cual no cuenta con un sistema de inventario sistematizado o formal, sino que se lleva control del material bibliográfico y de sus estados “de memoria” o en algunos casos haciendo usos de procesos obsoletos que no garantizan una eficiencia en el control del material. El trabajo tuvo como objetivo formular una propuesta del sistema de inventario para la empresa la librería “la Casa De Asterión” ubicada en el centro cultural del libro en Bogotá –Colombia. Bajo un método de investigación mixto en el cual la recolección y análisis de datos (cualitativa) y las mediciones numéricas (cuantitativa) se realizó una test para los trabajadores que permitió el contexto de conocimiento sobre inventarios en el que emergía la librería cuyos resultados permitieron conocer que los trabajadores y el duelo no tenían conocimientos básico fundamentales para el desarrollo de un inventario funcional, por lo cual se decidió formular un sistema de inventario sencillo y físico, que fuera de fácil uso.
