Description
Summary:This paper analyzes the current state of the "La Casa de Asterion" bookstore, which does not have a systematized or formal inventory system, but rather controls the bibliographic material and its states "from memory" or in some cases making use of obsolete processes that do not guarantee efficiency in the control of the material. The objective of the work was to formulate a proposal for the inventory system for the company the bookstore "La Casa De Asterion" located in the cultural center of the book in Bogotá -Colombia. Under a mixed research method in which the collection and analysis of data (qualitative) and numerical measurements (quantitative) a test was carried out for the workers that allowed the context of knowledge about inventories in which the bookstore emerged, whose results allowed to know that the workers and the mourners did not have basic fundamental knowledge for the development of a functional inventory, for which it was decided to formulate a simple and physical inventory system that was easy to use. But additionally, an automated template was made in Excel to achieve a transfer of the physical inventory processes to a systematized one.
