The proposal includes planning, public green space design, and urban biodiversity management as a way to overcome the tension between contrasting and conflicting land uses.Con base en la integración de los elementos que históricamente han sido definidos como parte de la Estructura Ecológica Principal, tales como áreas protegidas, redes ecológicas e infraestructura verde, se propone un modelo de planificación local para la renovación urbana de Fenicia, como ejemplo de diseño para la re-naturalización en el borde urbano de Bogotá.
