Using a methodology based on bibliographic review and content analysis, studies and literature from the last 10 years were examined. The findings highlight that malnutrition in the early stages of life leads to significant delays in brain, cognitive, and emotional development, resulting in deficiencies in academic performance and socialization. The conclusions emphasize the urgent need for early interventions, educational programs, and public health policies that holistically address malnutrition and its implications in the educational field.La presente investigación aborda el problema crítico de la malnutrición en la primera infancia y su impacto directo en el desarrollo y aprendizaje. Mediante una metodología basada en la revisión bibliográfica y análisis de contenido, se examinaron estudios y literatura de los últimos 5 años. Los hallazgos destacan que la malnutrición en etapas tempranas de la vida genera retrasos significativos en el desarrollo cerebral, cognitivo y emocional, llevando a deficiencias en el rendimiento académico y la socialización.
