Description
Summary:Pollution by high levels of particulate matter is a problem in indoor enclosures and other enclosed spaces, since in many cases the level of concentration present in these sites is unknown because measurements are not performed periodically and the methods used in these are not entirely effective and do not meet their needs when mitigating this problem, for this reason it was implemented a Control of particulate matter PM2. 5 and PM10 in enclosed areas of the Antonio Nariño University in Villavicencio, by means of a portable HEPA filter, which allows controlling the level of particulate matter in enclosed spaces; for this it was necessary to recognize and characterize the areas that were the object of the study, which had to be transited and frequented in order to reflect a real situation, in addition, the sampling method to be used was established, as well as the electronic elements used to make the measurements, these measurements were made during 15 days to be able to evidence the reality of each area in the different variables evaluated; Finally, the elements and additional tools that were used for the elaboration of the filter were described. This filter was installed in one of the previously selected enclosures, in order to demonstrate the changes in the amount of particulate matter that occurred there.
