Description
Summary:The general objective of this research study was to analyze the type of relationship between the use of social networks and the group identification of adolescents in grade 11 in the city of Buenaventura. This was carried out with the quantitative method with a non- experimental, cross-sectional design. To respond to what was raised in the document, the information provided by the institution was used according to emerging needs, therefore, a survey was used to determine the use of social networks in order to subsequently apply the instrument that measures group identification. The results indicate that there is no correlation between the use of social networks and the group identification of adolescents, in this way the statistical data allowed to confirm the research hypothesis Ho regarding greater use of social networks does not improve group identification, then it is evidenced that there is no relationship which demonstrates that group identification increases, then the greater use of social networks is not necessary to strengthen adolescents to increase a better relationship in the group.
