Summary:Commune 7 presents a problem in that its educational facilities do not meet all the necessary requirements for the development and free learning of children, adolescents and young people in the sector, since according to the Municipal Planning Council of commune 7, Ibague 2012, " Strategic development plan for commune 7 ", and the research carried out shows that it has 7 official educational institutions, of which 3 are primary education and 3 secondary education, these public institutions present a series of unfavorable conditions such as overcrowding , lack of green areas, which for the World Health Organization (WHO) green areas and public spaces represent quality of life for the urban population and must be at least 15 m2 per inhabitant, additionally some of these do not have adequate spaces To help their academic training, there are some institutions for private use that have all or optimal conditions for the development of its students such as the Comfatolima school and Los Samanes, Chinca, but since they are private, only certain economic levels that are even from other sectors of the city can access these.
