Description
Summary:In the context of the academic program in Industrial Electromechanical Maintenance Technology at Antonio Nariño University, the project "Electromechanical Maintenance and Improvement of the Didactic Industrial Process Variable Control Bench at Antonio Nariño University" is proposed. The main objective of this project is to maintain and enhance the existing didactic bench used for teaching industrial automation and process control. Through the implementation of rigorous preventive and corrective maintenance, the accumulated equipment deterioration will be addressed. Additionally, a comprehensive review of the programming logic of the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) will be carried out, and its functionality will be optimized to ensure its operability. The culmination of the project will be the creation of an updated and efficient practice platform that will enable students in the program to gain practical and effective experience with process variable control, thereby strengthening their skills in the field of industrial automation. The project will not only contribute to maintaining and improving the educational infrastructure but will also provide students with a more enriching experience aligned with the current demands of the industrial sector. Furthermore, this focus on the maintenance and enhancement of the didactic bench will serve as a model for future similar initiatives, thus promoting excellence in the training of professionals in the electromechanical and industrial fields.
