Summary: | Dermatological diseases in canines arise from different causes, although there are factors already identified about these problems, many of these present a difficulty in relation to the generation of an adequate treatment, as a consequence of the above, it becomes a challenge at the veterinary level, proceed appropriately with these skin problems, to ensure effectiveness in the recovery process. This work aimed to carry out an approach through literature review of the state of the art of the predisposing factors to dermatophytosis reported, and the main associated secondary skin diseases in the Canis familiaris species. To achieve this, a search was carried out in different databases: MEDLINE-Pub Med, EMBASE-Elsevier, CAB abstract y Google Sscholar, with previously defined keywords. One hundred fifty articles were identified, of which 42 were selected and analyzed in the literature review. This specific document focuses on a literary review, which with its analytical nature focuses on the search and discussion of academic articles on the generality of dermatophytosis, presentation factors and secondary skin conditions. |
