Description
Summary:Currently, several studies have focused on evaluating the antimicrobial capacity of secondary metabolites in plants, given that this could be an alternative for the treatment of various health implications, both oral and general. The main objective of the work was to evaluate the inhibitory effect of the metabolic extracts of Moringa oleifera on the microorganisms present in samples collected from the oral cavity of patients from Villavicencio - Meta. An extraction process of secondary metabolites was carried out using the cold percolation technique; subsequently, the resulting extract was taken to a rotary evaporator.
