Description
Summary:The location and construction of a gas pipeline in the Ciénaga - Magdalena area is a decision made based on an Analysis of Environmental Restrictions - ARAS, in which the backbone of the process is the models developed by geographic information systems, models that are based on layers of spatial information provided by official entities such as the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies - IDEAM, the model that is developed in the process is a sum of layers with weighted weights for each Pixel, which yield zones with criticality categories, in order to later be able to model the optimal layout taking into account these categories and thus finally obtain the optimal location in which the environmental component is decisive
