Description
Summary:In this work, a didactic unit is presented for the teaching of rotation, translation and principles of the Cartesian plane from bodily activities and dance, based on the meaningful learning of Novak and Ausubel and on Vygotsky's zone of proximal development theory. This proposal arises as a response to traditional methodologies, common in this area that make it unpleasant for students. With this work we want to contribute to the development of geometric and metric thinking, supported by forms of work that are attractive to students, such as physical education and dances. These guides work on body movement, which is important at the age of fifth grade students, without losing the mathematical horizon or the distance from the educational references in Colombia such as standards, curricular guidelines and the basic rights of learning.
