Summary:Orthopedic footwear is very useful for children who have podiatric problems, as well as some seek greater comfort with their shoes, currently in Colombia there are few companies positioned in the market, so it generates a market opportunity to enter the industry. The following business plan aims to carry out a business plan of a company that manufactures and markets orthopedic shoes for children, in the city of Santa Marta and to carry out the market study for the creation of an orthopedic footwear company in the aforementioned city and identify the operational plan for the company, in this way define the timeliness of the business plan, allowing to determine with certainty the methodology used that had a non-experimental design with descriptive and quantitative scope; the exhibition will be held in the city of Santa Marta in the central area where the business will be located. The results showed that there is an attractive market that considers the orthopedic market very relevant, the biggest motivator was the different color of black or white with a "if" of 74%. The demand was set at 99 pairs of shoes.
