To this extent, different tools have been used to increase their levels of well-being, often using very broad categorizations with respect to the species they manage and this affects the results obtained because they do not manage to fully satisfy the particular needs of each species in captivity. Leopardus wiedii has been catalogued for years as a small feline with similar behaviours and activities to other species, among them Leopardus pardalis and Puma yaguaroundi, this, as a consequence of the absence of a behavioural catalog specific to the species that provides accurate data about their circadian rhythms. This research seeks to provide a day and night behavioral catalog of Leopardus wiedii in captivity, in addition to establishing behavioral frequencies in the day and night. The field work resulted in a catalog with 26 behaviors in total, divided into 6 main categories. Later, it was also obtained an analysis of activity according to the presentation of behavioral frequencies in the day and night, showing finally the greater nocturnal activity of the Leopardus wiedii in the Santa Cruz Zoo, in San Antonio del Tequendama, Cundinamarca.Durante años, tanto zoológicos como centros de conservación y fundaciones, han velado por la protección de diversas especies silvestres. En esta medida, se han utilizado diferentes herramientas para lograr incrementar sus niveles de bienestar, muchas veces haciendo uso de categorizaciones muy amplias con respecto a las especies que manejan y esto repercute en los resultados obtenidos pues no logran satisfacer en su totalidad las necesidades particulares de cada especie en cautiverio. Leopardus wiedii ha sido catalogado durante años como un felino pequeño con comportamientos y actividades similares a otras especies, entre ellos Leopardus pardalis y Puma yaguaroundi, esto, como consecuencia de la ausencia de un catálogo comportamental propio de la especie que brinde datos certeros acerca de sus ritmos circadianos. Esta investigación, busca brindar un catálogo comportamental diurno y nocturno de Leopardus wiedii en cautiverio, además de establecer frecuencias comportamentales en el día y la noche. El trabajo de campo arrojó como resultado, un catalogo con 26 comportamientos en total, divididos en 6 categorias principales.
