Summary:The main objective of this research was to know the social representations of people who have experienced a suicide attempt with a member of the family group. The method used for this study was a qualitative-narrative design with a descriptive scope based on empirical-analytical data. These data are based on the history of life through stories or experiences determined for each person, it should be described precisely what the person narrates at the time, for this investigation the information, the field of social representations, and the attitude, this to observe how much social representations influence society. Results. It was evidenced that social models influenced a person to attempt his life, whether in the social, family or cultural environment. Conclusion. It can be understood that the Social Representations of these participants regarding the suicidal phenomenon range from the beliefs and knowledge of each one, according to the place where they live and with which they are satisfied, adding the burdens of the experiences.
