Not only this, the work that action agents (firefighters) do in trying to extinguish these plants when trying to mitigate a forest fire is extremely complex. It is stated that the use of tools for manual eradication is not effective enough to combat in these places, since the tools are difficult to transport to the risk area and the physical effort using them increases future injuries.

It is stated that the use of tools for manual eradication is not effective enough to combat in these places, since the tools are difficult to transport to the risk area and the physical effort using them increases future injuries.From the design, the development of a tool is proposed which proposes to reduce the physical load and lumbar injuries, from ergonomic studies and postural evaluations, so as to increase productivity in manual eradication. The use of materials that allow resistance to heat and that are flexible for the development of this project is proposed. Three-dimensional models were created that allow understanding the distances and the disposition of use of the element.Colombia es susceptible al cambio climático por aspectos como la deforestación y por la alta concentración de especies vegetales foráneas que acaban con las que habitan en la zona, especialmente en algunas de las regiones montañosas del Altiplano Cundiboyacense. Algunas de estas especies son potencialmente combustibles y difíciles de erradicar. No solo esto, el trabajo que hacen los agentes de acción (bomberos) al tratar de extinguir estas plantas cuando se pretende mitigar un incendio forestal es extremadamente complejo. Se manifiesta que uso de herramientas para la erradicación manual no es lo suficientemente efectivo para combatir en estos lugares, ya que las herramientas son difíciles de transportar a la zona de riesgo y el esfuerzo físico usándolas incrementa las lesiones a futuro.Se plantea desde el diseño, el desarrollo de una herramienta la cual propone disminuir la carga física y lesiones lumbares, a partir de estudios ergonómicos y evaluaciones posturales, para que se aumente la productividad en la erradicación manual. Se plantea el uso de materiales los cuales permitan la resistencia al calor y que sean flexibles para el desarrollo de este proyecto.
