Description
Summary:The main purpose of this research work was to Analyze the gestures used by a Brazilian and American dyad during a face-to-face interaction speaking Spanish. To achieve this objective, a descriptive study was carried out, with a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach. This investigation was carried out with a dyad composed of two participants, subject 1 is a Brazilian woman, and subject 2 is an American man, who use the Spanish language as a second language to interact. The analysis of results allowed to establish that during the interaction gestures that are culturally learned are frequently present and that there are opportunities in which during the interaction the subjects tend to generate a simultaneity in their gestural movements.
