Description
Summary:To begin to analyze the relationship between logistics and technology, its entire evolutionary process must be considered as the axis of the economic, social and business aspects of a territory from the point of digitization on the way to technology 4.0. The growing needs to optimize the processes that have been carried out since long ago are added to events such as that of Latin America, where raising the standards of connectivity in the countries is a priority of the governments that manage them. With this, multiple sectors are involved, starting with commerce, education, politics, which in a direct and joint effort with the national government seek to progressively achieve a true business digital transformation, especially in mipymes because they are a fabric that supports a fairly large percentage in the Colombian economy, where the beneficiaries will integrate the business network that positions the country in the sector in areas of trade, innovation and regional development. It is possible to analyze cases in the MSME sector in Latin America where a Chilean family business named LA VEGUITA, dedicated to the retail sale of fruits and vegetables in the neighborhood where they are located, being surrounded by the problems generated by the arrival of the Covid 19 ended up being reduced to a minimum their income due to not being able to receive products or sell them, giving rise to a considerable economic impact. Once its owner sees that everything depended on the use of technology, she decides to take a digital marketing course offered by the government and thus implement and adapt her business to online sales in addition to making use of the DIGITAL CHECK tool designed by the IDB. to measure the capacities and shortcomings of a business and the identification of possible routes to achieve the digitization that its mipymes required. After the implementation of the advances. Business technology recommended for its type of mipymes, LA VEGUITA went from being a corner business to selling to more neighborhoods, to managing online sales, creating catalogs, controlling dispatch routes and by optimizing their processes they managed to be a competitive mipymes, digitized, with a larger number of customers and therefore more notable profits, all thanks to understanding the need to digitize and learn about the subject so that together with a logistics that seeks to be competitive, productive and highly efficient, the gaps can be reduced that currently exist between mipymes and the path to their evolution. For the fulfillment of the objectives of the mipymes in general, there must be awareness that the use of logistics services must be innovative, they must be clear about what current technologies offer them and those that are under development. Another example is the case of the Chilean pharmacy called ¨FRACTIÓN "that runs its business mostly online, which opted for substantial improvements in its commercial exercise given the demand in the midst of the pandemic incorporating and using the e-commerce model and software Beetrack, giving its customers a high-quality online service where they.
