This trial by Borges is not a historical experiment, but an aesthetic and politic exercise that connects it to the contemporary proposal of Jacques Rancière in the aesthetic regime of the arts. The trial results in a proposal to intuit, configure and know reality from an aesthetic point of view.En este texto se analiza la interpretación de la historia y la política en el ensayo “La muralla y los libros”, de Jorge Luis Borges. A partir de un hecho histórico, Borges emprende una disquisición cuya metodología está muy cercana a la interpretación nietzscheana de la historia y su propuesta genealógica, recogida en años más recientes por Michel Foucault. Este examen borgeano, más que un experimento histórico, resulta ser un ejercicio estético y político que lo emparenta con la propuesta contemporánea de Jacques Rancière del régimen estético de las artes. El ensayo resulta en una propuesta de intuir, configurar y conocer la realidad a partir del ejercicio estético.Neste texto analisa-se a interpretação da história e da política no ensaio “A muralha e os livros” do Jorge Luis Borges. A partir de um fato histórico, Borges empreende uma disquisição cuja metodologia é muito próxima à interpretação nietzschiana da história e a sua proposta genealógica, retomada em anos recentes por Michel Foucault. Este exercício borgeano, mais que um experimento histórico, é um exercício estético y político que o relaciona com a proposta contemporânea de Jacques Rancière do regime estético das artes.
