Thus, this argument is emerging as an analytical approach to the work of this Spanish writer.Este artículo de reflexión tiene por objetivo presentar los resultados del análisis de algunas fronteras discursivas, literarias y creativas que confluyen en La escritura o la vida (1995), de Jorge Semprún; para este fin, el método críticoliterario contemplado aquí se concentrará en observar tres linderos temáticos: el primero se ocupa de establecer la literatura ancilar presente en esta narración, según los planteamientos hechos por el crítico literario Alfonso Reyes en su obra El deslinde (1944); la segunda explora las estéticas y lecciones de creación literaria para la escritura de los conflictos presentes en este relato y, finalmente, la tercera se enfoca en un breve examen de la escritura como ejercicio terapéutico y resiliente, desde la mirada de un lejano lector latinoamericano.
