Comportamiento electoral y contextos de violencia: elementos teóricos y conceptuales para la elaboración de estudios que relacionen ambos conceptos en casos colombianos

In the present article is evident how the violence, the intimidation, between others vulnerary behaviors of the human rights in the election process, can influence in the most basics civic duties: the decision at the time to take part in the elections and being informed about politics. For that, it is described the importance and implications of the elections in a democracy, it is given the theoretical contribution that is taken from political behavior’s studies; likewise, it is displayed the contributions from studies about violence to set out the category of violence context; and finally, it is mention some reflections that try to make relations and causalities between violence and elections.
