Description
Summary:Analyzing interpersonal networks from a neighborhood effects perspective, the study shows that the proximity of Nordeste de Amaralina to middle-upper-class condominios provides economical integration whereas maintaining social segmentation. The isolation of socially homogeneous Plataforma leads to the naturalization of social distance patters whereas in socially heterogeneous Fazenda Grande II, the socialising effects of school mitigate the negative repercussions of isolation.
