The exigencies and constant changes in the modern world are not foreign to the education sector which is expected to be in tune with the new realities, and for this, it is fundamental that innovative strategies be adopted in the processes of teaching and learning, including adjustments in methodology, resources and attitudes of both teachers and students. One of these actions is coaching, a management tool that aims to improve the performance of people, through a process of accompaniment and whose foundations can be incorporated into education. The article proposes that it is necessary to extrapolate coaching from the company to the classroom, which helps to create conditions for learning and develop the full potential of the student, making it the protagonist of their learning. The objective was centered in proposing coaching guidelines that can be applied by the teacher in his or her work; with the purpose of involving the students in a more participative way. In this perspective, a qualitative study was developed, by means of documentary research, on the elements that support educational coaching; the data analyzed allowed to recognize how the teaching function is enriched with the incorporation of coaching elements. |

Las exigencias y constantes cambios en el mundo moderno no son ajenos al sector educativo del cual se espera que esté a tono con las nuevas realidades, y para ello, es fundamental que se adopten estrategias innovadoras en los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje, que incluya ajustes en la metodología, en los recursos y en las actitudes del docente como del estudiante. Una de esas acciones la constituye el coaching, herramienta gerencial, que propende por mejorar el rendimiento de las personas, mediante un proceso de acompañamiento y cuyos fundamentos pueden ser incorporados en la educación. El artículo plantea que es necesaria una extrapolación del coaching de la empresa al aula, que coadyuve en crear condiciones hacia el aprender y desarrollar todo el potencial del alumno; convirtiéndolo en el protagonista de su aprendizaje. El objetivo se centró en proponer lineamientos de coaching que pueden ser aplicados por parte del profesor en su quehacer; con el propósito de involucrar de manera más participativa a los estudiantes. L'article indique qu'il est nécessaire d'extrapoler le coaching de l'entreprise à la salle de classe, ce qui permet de créer des conditions d'apprentissage et de développer tout le potentiel de l'étudiant, en faisant de lui le protagoniste de son apprentissage. O artigo afirma que é necessário extrapolar o coaching da empresa para a sala de aula, o que ajuda a criar condições para a aprendizagem e desenvolver todo o potencial do aluno, tornando-o no protagonista da sua aprendizagem.
