The prevalence of alterations in the facial exam, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) intraoral exam, COP index, periodontal condition (CPITN), and radiographic interpretation were determined.Results: In the group studied, 77.08% were female and their average mean age was 48.7% years old. The scalp showed the highest frequency of abnormality, 22.9%; the most frequent TMJ alteration was pain, 60.42% which was 41.67% bilateral; oral mucosa showed the greatest number of lesions (37.5%); the periodontal condition was 50% of the population had periodontal pockets of 4 to 5 mm in the presence of subgingival calculus. Radiographically, 19.05% had thin roots; 42.86% had posterior hypercementosis; 11.9% reduced TM joint space.Conclusions: The alterations of the oral mucosa reflect an elevated prevalence of red lesions. Furthermore, these patients have a greater risk of developing periodontal disease.Objetivo: Determinar el perfil orofacial y bucodental de individuos con Artritis Reumatoidea, según la evolución y el manejo de la enfermedad.Materiales y métodos: Mediante un estudio observacional descriptivo, conformado por 48 individuos con Artritis Reumatoidea, se estableció la prevalencia de las alteraciones en el examen facial, articulación temporomandibular (ATM), examen intraoral, índice COP, estado periodontal (CPITN), ICP e interpretación radiográfica.Resultados: Se valoraron 48 individuos, 77.08% del género femenino, con un promedio de edad de 48.7 años. El cuero cabelludo presentó la mayor frecuencia de anormalidad, 22.9%; la alteración de la ATM más frecuente fue el dolor articular (60.42%) que fue bilateral en un 41.67%; en mucosa oral, la zona bucal presentó el mayor número de lesiones (37,5%); el 50% de los individuos presentó bolsas de 4 a 5mm con presencia de cálculos subgingivales. En la interpretación radiográfica se observó un 19.05% con raíces delgadas; el 42.86% presentó hipercementosis en la zona posterior; el 11.90%, espacio articular reducido.Conclusiones: Las alteraciones de la mucosa oral reflejan una prevalencia elevada de lesiones en la mucosa bucal.
