Summary:This article gives an account of the state of scientific knowledge production that has been developed between sport and disability in Colombia, based on two aspects: 1) the didactic component, which focuses on the relationship between participants, intervention models, evaluation processes and, in general, the role of teachers or coaches; 2) the training purposes that have been prioritized. For this purpose, a search was carried out in different databases, applying as the main inclusion criterion that they were articles published in recognized Colombian journals. The selected articles were submitted to a categorical analysis matrix for the corresponding interpretative process. As conclusions, the need to strengthen the educational component in the intervention proposals and the relevant role that sport has and could have in the approach to disability are highlighted.
