Summary:Textual typology and objective. The purpose of this research article is to explain the advances of a study in progress whose object of analysis is a set of actions of continuous teacher training, developed during 2016 by the Ministry of Education of the Province of Córdoba, whose purpose is to address the notion of the role of a student and its relation to the promotion of inclusive school practices during compulsory education. These actions are part of the educational policies outlined by the agency to favor processes of review and reformulation/ improvement of curricular practices in the schools of the jurisdiction as part of institutional self-evaluation processes and respond to the pedagogical priorities defined by the government for the period 2016-2019 in the educational system of the province mentioned above.Methodology. This is a descriptive exploratory study developed with a qualitative approach. As part of the stages that is made up by: first of all, the survey-recovery of theoretical frameworks in relation to the problematic of the role of student and its link with other notions such as school trajectories and institutional self-evaluation. Secondly, the development of a fieldwork consisting of interviews with key informants, focus groups and documentary analysis to obtain information about the impact of these documents on curricular practices. It describes the institutional context in which the work is inscribed together with the conceptual, methodological framework as well as the state of progress up to the date of this presentation.Results. It offers contributions to the academic community for the design and development of public policies, a valuable input to rethink the management and coordination of actions of the agency by the committing different scales of the system and producing knowledge about them.
