To achieve this, it presents the context that motivates this reflection, under the experience as a teacher of the program and the dimensions in teaching- learning, extension, research and social projection, to finally present some conclusions about the reality of thisprofessional opportunity and vocation to the teaching.Este artículo adelanta una reflexión sobre la formación en arquitectura en el ámbito regional dentro de un contexto colombiano; cuyo fin, es presentar aspectos de reflexión que aporten a la formación en esta área de conocimiento en el ámbito universitario de la universidad santo Tomás sede Tunja.
