Las competencias del bioeticista en perspectiva ricoeuriana, título del presente artículo, es el resultado totalmentenovedoso de una investigación de corte hermenéutico-analítica, que lleva como título Las aportaciones de la hermenéuticaricoeuriana al estatuto epistemológico de la bioética, estatuto que aún se encuentra en gestación, en cuanto a quela misma Bioética es una disciplina que apenas tiene unos cuarenta años y aún busca su fundamento epistemológico,el cual hasta el momento lo ha entretejido con base en la interdisciplinaridad de la filosofía, la religión y la ciencia dela ética médica.El artículo presenta una serie de competencias de corte antropológico que identifican a las personas encargadas dedilucidar temas concernientes a la toma de decisiones desde el punto de vista bioético. Sobresalen unas cinco competenciasbásicas del especialista en Bioética, a saber: El homo capax actante o el hombre capaz de actuar; el homo capaxlingüístico o el hombre capaz de decir; el homo capax narrador o el hombre capaz de narrar y narrarse; el homo capaximputable o el hombre capaz de imputabilidad; el homo capax de promesa o el hombre capaz de asumir la promesa.COMPETENCES OF THE BIOETHICIST IN RICOERTIAN PERSPECTIVEAbstractThe competences of the bioethicist in a ricoeurian perspective, the title of this article, is a completely novel resultof a study of hermeneutic-analytical kind, which is entitled The contributions of ricoeurian hermeneutics to the epistemologicalstatute of bioethics, which is still in gestation, in that the same Bioethics is a discipline that is only forty yearsold and continues to seek its epistemological foundation, which so far has been weaved based on the interdisciplinarycontributions of philosophy, religion and the medical ethics science.The article presents a series of anthropological kind competencies identified as those responsible for clarifying issuesconcerning the decision-making from the bioethical standpoint. Five core competencies of bioethicists stand out, namelythe homo capax actant or man capable of acting, the homo capax linguistic or man able to say, the narrator homo capaxor man capable of narrating and narrate himself, the attributable homo capax or man capable of responsibility, the homocapax of promise or the man able to keep a pledge.
